Our Weekend

We made our monthly trip to Sam's Friday night...Ouch! For once, we got out of there under $200. HA!!

Saturday proved to be a busy day for us. Josh had swim lessons. Phil took him there and then the guys went out to lunch (McDonald's - Josh's choice) and then they went over to the mall and played video games for awhile.

The girls and I had a mother/daughter luncheon to go to. My mom came with us, too! We had a really nice time - even though it was pouring the rain!! That part was awful. The luncheon itself was extremely nice. The ladies from church put it all together.

After that, we all came home and crashed. We got there about the same time Phil & Josh did.

Sunday, we visited our old church (at Josh's request). Of course, the girls had grown so much, people almost didn't recognize them. :) It's been close to a year since we've been back there.

Phil had to leave for Columbia around 2:00 to visit a customer. He took the girls to mom & dad's for the next 2 days. We figured that was easier than mom trying to get over to the house by 7:00 so I could take Josh to school. The girls enjoy staying w/ Grandmother and Granddaddy. :)

Josh and I had the afternoon/evening to ourselves. So, after a much needed nap, we went to Burger King for supper (Josh's request) and then went to Walmart for a few things. We came back and cleaned a little bit. Then, we made cinnamon rolls and each ate 2. :)

After that, we put together Josh's Jazzy Jar for school (another fund raiser). He helped decorate it - it looked pretty good. We got some little cloth bags, fabric paint, iron on patches, stickers, etc. to decorate the bags with... They're going to sell the jars at MayFest next weekend to raise money for the school.

Phil should be home by supper tonight.

I didn't sleep that well last night. I don't know why - I never have trouble sleeping. So, I'm extremely tired today.

Oh well, as long as I can make it through an episode of 24 tonight, I can go to bed early. :)
