Josh's First Day!
Josh started kindergarten today. I dropped him off at his room this morning. He was the first one there, but it didn't take long for another little boy to show up. He's on a staggered schedule right now, so he won't go back until next week. There were only 5 kids in there today.
His teacher said he was as sweet as could be! :) She did say he talked a little bit (I guess that's better than nothing). He's so shy right now. He's getting much better about it, though.
Anyway, he said they chased a gingerbread man all over the school. This was a good way to show them around the school. He said they finally had to run back to the room as fast as they could and when they got there, there was the gingerbread man! :)
He said he made a friend today, too! :) There were 3 girls and 2 boys there.
He also said he had to sit at the teacher's station and answer a bunch of questions. He said that he got ALOT of points! :) He said he didn't get some points on some of the questions. I'm really surprised he was able to talk enough to give her the answers. I have no doubt that he knew the answers, though! He said he answered alot of rhyming questions (he loves rhymes!).
He took his lunch today in his brand new Cars lunchbox (thanks, Grandmother!). He took a ham/cheese sandwich, applesauce, ritz bits, Rice Krispie Treat and a chocolate milk (I found some organic milk that doesn't need to be refrigerated). Anyway, he said his teacher had to open his applesauce, crackers and "nutra grain bar" (rice krispie treat). :)
He looked so cute with his backpack on - so grown up! :)
He said he's ready to go again, but I think he was pretty tired when I picked him up. He just wanted to go home and play with his sisters.
