School's Out and stuff

Josh is officially a first grader!! His last day of school was Friday.

We went to the Splash Pad Sunday afternoon - the kids had a great time! Callie kept running over to us and saying, "I'm getting wet!!". She loved it!! Emma was okay with it and Josh was ready to go home after an hour. :)

On Monday, we went back to the zoo (we went last weekend, too. As usual, Emma is the one that enjoyed it the most. The girl gets way too excited seeing the animals.She loves touching them, too. She got to touch a baby hedgehog - it was too cute. Josh petted him, too. Callie wouldn't touch him.

I took Josh to the doctor today (spent 2 hours there - they were so slow). His stomach has been hurting off and on for the last few weeks.They did a urinalysis and that came back normal. They gave him a month's worth of Prevacid to see if that will help.

We go back at the end of June to have him re-checked. If the Prevacid doesn't work, they'll do other testing. If it does work, I'm not sure what they'll do. The Dr. didn't want to keep him on it long term.We probably all need to eat better...try convincing a 6 year old that he needs to eat his veggies. HA!

We're suppose to go to Splash Country on Friday. Wendy is coming in a week early for Josh's birthday, so we're taking him to Splash Country. :) I just hope it doesn't rain!

We're having a birthday party for Josh at the Splash Pad on June 9. I hope it doesn't rain then either. I know we need the rain, but it can hold off for our special occasions. :)
