It's been forever...
It's been awhile since I've updated what's going on in our lives...it's been too busy!!
Here are some things I've been putting down in a text file - thinking I'll actually get to put them here - HA! I did this last week, so it's already outdated! :)
Weekend of Feb 3
We went to Kingsport for the girls' birthday. We all had a great time. The girls got lots of presents and got pampered by grandparents, aunts and uncles.
We stopped by Mom & Dad's on the way back home to drop the girls off. They agreed to keep the girls for 2 nights, so Phil, Josh and I had 2 nights without Callie & Emma. I think we all missed them, but we did get some sleep.
Funnies from Josh:
We were looking at an ABC book practicing Josh's spelling. Well, we got to Q=quilt. He told me that his teacher's mom or grandmother (don't remember which) "sewed" a quilt. I told him my grandmother had made me a quilt, too. He then says, "All old people sew quilts". :) What a silly boy.
**********************Weekend of Feb 10
We went to Gatlinburg to just drive around and look for cabins. We drove up one very curvy road and I don't think Josh liked it one bit. We were on our way down and he said, "I'm going to throw up if we don't get down soon!". I was right there with him.
We went by the welcome center to go to the museum (at Josh's request). He loved it! The girls were okay with it, I think. :) We got to the stuffed bear (which was fairly big), Emma took one look at it and said, "WOW!" Callie wouldn't go near it. :)

Sleeping Issues
The girls have been waking up in the middle of the night...sometimes, it's one of them, sometimes, it's both of them. Needless to say, Phil and I are very tired! We have no idea why the girls are waking up and not wanting to go back to sleep. I don't know if they're teething or what (2 year molars). I've been blaming those molars on everything for the last few weeks.
They finally slept through the night last night...thank goodness. I don't think Phil or I moved all night. We could have still used a couple more hours, but it was nice to sleep all night!

Happy Birthday
The girls turn 2 on Friday. Wendy is coming Thursday night - Josh is very happy about that! We're going to have a small party at the house Friday night with family. Hopefully, Scott can get off of work in time to join in the fun.
We're taking them to have their pictures done Friday morning (I'm taking Friday off). Hopefully, they'll cooperate. I'm going to have them wear their overalls. :) I think we'll go casual for this picture. Portrait Innovations encourages everyone to bring a change of clothes, but I don't think I want to go through the hassle of doing that. It's hard enough to get them to cooperate to begin with...no sense in adding extra pressure. :)
