Updates

Geez - it's been awhile since I've posted!

Let's see if I can remember everything I wanted to post. :)

Funnies from Callie:

We were in the car going home from daycare...

Callie: Kim?
Me: Yes?
Callie: Where's Philip?
Me: At home!

(Philip's daddy). She has learned our names now. HA!

Emma's daycare teacher said she was walking around the classroom today singing Jesus Loves Me at the top of her lungs. :) She was totally oblivious to anyone else around. The girl loves to sing!

Josh's scouts had Rocket Day at the last meeting. It was really neat. They made rockets out of 2 liter coke bottles and decorated them w/ construction paper. They looked very cool! They also had stations set up...there were nerf rockets (the ones you jump on to make fly), there was a balloon station - blew up long balloons and let them fly. This was neat because the wind was blowing some and many of the balloons went clear across the field. The boys shot off their coke bottle rockets w/ water and compressed air - it was amazing how far the rockets went! There were also some model rockets they launched. Josh didn't care for those because they released some smoke (he has this great fear of fires right now).

We think Emma has an ear infection. She has an appointment this afternoon w/ our ENT. Hopefully, he can get her some relief!

I'm sure lots more has happened over the last few weeks - just can't remember!! :)

I want Emma back!!

Those were the 1st words I heard out of Callie's mouth when I picked them up from daycare yesterday.

It seems that Emma didn't wake up earlier enough from her nap to go outside w/ the 1st group that goes out. So, the girls got "separated". :)

Well, Emma was outside when I picked them up and I don't guess Callie liked that! It was so cute! "I want Emma back!!"

There are 16 3 year olds in this class, so they do split them up to take them outside - 1 teacher inside and 1 outside.

So proud of Josh!!

Josh brought home a project they've been working on at school and there was a note on it from his teacher. It said that Josh had done the BEST job in the WHOLE class!! :) He really did do a great job! It's nice to hear that from time to time!

Last week, he brought home a paper that had been laminated. He said that only the best from each class got chosen to display on the wall. His was chosen! :)

He loves to color and draw and does a fabulous job!

Yay Josh!!!

Stuff

Josh had his Raingutter Regatta last night at scouts...they had to "build" a boat from a kit and race them in a gutter last night by blowing on them. :) Josh won one of his races, so he was happy.

While they were gone, Callie fell and hit her lip on a wooden box. It bled and bled. I finally got it stop bleeding - we went to the living room to sit down and keep some ice on it. Emma never left Callie's side. She was trying to give her hugs (while Callie was still screaming and crying). Emma rubbed Callie's back and tried to make it all better. I'm not sure if Callie even noticed.

Callie was fine - her lip was a little swollen and looked like she bit it (which she may have).

This morning, Callie got up and said she was going to show Maddie that she hurt her "wip". And then she was going to show Miss Anna (teacher at daycare). :) She was proud of her hurt wip.
