Phil was putting the girls to bed last night (I was at scouts w/ Josh) and he had an interesting conversation with the girls (this may not be exactly right, but close).
Somehow they were talking about God and Jesus. Phil told them that God was everywhere. Callie said that He was NOT in her room right then. Phil told her that He was. She said, "But I can't see Him!". Phil said that He's in our hearts. One of them said something about how God wasn't in their tummies. I think it was Emma that said something about Him being under their food. (Where did that come from?).
Next, Callie said God died on a cross. Phil told her that Jesus was the one that died on the cross. She was quiet for a few minutes and said, "I'm NOT going to do that, because that hurts!". Phil said, "Exactly...that's why HE died on the cross - so YOU don't have to!" :)
